Tirtha Banerjee’s work is acclaimed all around India, for his versatile choice of subjects and style of works. An artist without a formal intuitional training, choose to be mentored by all those who inspired him in the path of life, and also Internet.
Watercolor, acrylic is the preferred medium for Tirtha, and he has developed an individual approach expressing his subjects on the said medium. His works spans from Landscapes to Birds and animals, to more complex subjects, like Death, metamorphosis etc. He likes to explore on the philosophical aspects of life’s approach and expressed them in his works.
For him, the process of creation is about expressing my Ideas, Imaginations and Instincts; hoping that in this way he’ll be able to tell the stories to a larger audience and create an awareness, which in return will help him and the viewer to be kinder and empathetic towards the natural world.
Tirtha is also a professional Animator, working on various International projects with clients like Disney, Netflix, dreamworks and many more for past fifteen years. He had keen interest in film making and also created and directed an animated series – “Chint Boy” with his friend.
His Art works has been in private collection of many Art lovers all around India, from Delhi, Kolkata to Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. He also did the cover art of the English Mythological Fiction book – The genius of Indraprastha.
